Energy Efficiency in Kansas: Roundtable Discussion on KCC Docket

Register for event

USGBC Central Plains is partnering with several local organizations to host a Thursday, Aug. 25 roundtable discussion to educate Kansas utility customers on an energy efficient docket before the Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC). This docket is a great opportunity for Kansas residents to impact the future of energy efficiency in the state.

KCP&L recently filed a request to offer new energy efficiency programs in Kansas in accordance with the Kansas Energy Efficiency Investment Act (KEEIA) legislation. Come learn about these programs and how you can lend your voice of support and encourage the KCC to approve these efficiency measures.

The docket includes seven residential programs and seven business programs, including two income-eligible programs and two educational programs. If approved, these programs will begin in Kansas in early 2017.
