Join the ISSP DC Chapter, Leaders in Energy, Net Impact, and USGBC National Capital Region for a tour of one of only 12 structures in the world that have met the Living Building Challenge (LBC).

This private event at the Alice Ferguson Foundation, located on the Potomac River, includes panel discussion of experts. They will share technical details of the LBC, the development of the building and the certification process and the relevance of the LBC to sustainability professionals.

The event also includes hands-on activities and lunch. It ends at 2 p.m., but join us afterward to tour the grounds and network with sustainability peers.

Panelists
Daniel Pedersen, PhD, VP of Science & Standards, Green Seal will moderate our panel of speakers who are experts with experience managing a living building project.

About the Alice Ferguson Foundation
The Alice Ferguson Foundation (AFF) recently completed one year of operating a Living Building in their environmental education center. The foundation unites students, educators, park rangers, communities, regional organizations and government agencies throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to promote the environmental sustainability of the Potomac River watershed.
