Green Schools: 2018 Earth Week Fireside Elementary School Tour

In celebration of Earth Week, we invite you to join us on a tour of Paradise Valley Unified School District’s Fireside Elementary School. 

Come learn how the design team incorporated water conservation, solar energy, and other sustainable features in efforts. Witness the on-going learning opportunities for occupants and community members as well as cost-effective solutions for any educational facility.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Discuss how the school engages students in their water harvesting program.
  2.  Discuss the learning objectives included in working with water conservation, solar energy and sustainable building features.
  3. Discuss how sustainability is incorporated in the classroom curriculum.
  4. Discuss how student productivity levels rise with their interaction with the surrounding environment.

Continuing Education: Approved for 1.5 GBCI CE hours.
