Join USGBC Greater Virginia on May 23 for a case study on the benefits of green building.

Huguenot High School provides a unique opportunity to study the benefits of green building strategies, because a new high school was built on the same site (next door to the existing high school) and the same student population moved right in.

Key metrics were measured in both buildings for a "before and after" snapshot that provides a comparative analysis highlighting the benefits of the green building strategies employed in the new building. This presentation will provide a forum to discuss these metrics in the context of Huguenot High School, explore ways similar concepts could be applied to other schools and offer the opportunity to tour the school building with the architect who designed it.
