Join USGBC Idaho in celebrating the green business and culture of Idaho at Idaho Green Fest.

Idaho Green Fest is a free, all ages community festival that celebrates the Earth and cultivates the growth and development of a sustainable economy by creating space for community members to have an amazing time while enjoying eco-conscious presentations and exhibits, live music, performance arts, and local food and drinks.

Location: 8th and Bannock streets in downtown Boise

The driving force of the Idaho Green Fest is to bring people together to learn from each other, encourage the active movers and shakers to keep moving and shaking, and raise awareness about resources, services and products that promote healthier, more ecologically sound lifestyles.

Idaho Green Fest celebrates the vibrant culture of community and sustainability. Friendships and business connections are made during the Idaho Green Fest. This event strengthens the social fabric of our community and aspires to be a benchmark for others to be more conscious of minimizing the waste generated, overall environmental impact, and sustainability of other events.

The 2016 IGF will again provide informative displays and demonstrations from Idaho based businesses and nonprofits taking the lead in the realm of green building, gardening and farming, healthy and holistic self and home care, local media and communications, social and environmental advocacy, and Idaho-made artistic creations.

Two stages will feature Boise-based musicians, performance artists, and inspiring presentations from a variety of community leaders and nonprofit organizations. Musicians and performers that have a positive social message and artists vending their Idaho-made creations are featured during this event.

One-time use bottled water will not be sold during the event. Hydration stations and reusable water bottles will be available on site. Food vendors are encouraged to use only recyclable service ware. The food they serve must also be locally/regionally sourced ingredients to promote buying local. Exhibitors and vendors are encouraged to not distribute unnecessary paper promotion materials. By establishing these guidelines, IGF will make a lasting impact in the City of Boise and greater surrounding areas.
