One Day LEED Accredited Professional (AP) BD+C Exam-Prep Workshop

Friday, January 31, 2020 from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. both in-person in Orlando and remote online attendance via GoToWebinar.

This one day workshop will be a dynamic, interactive training course that provides guidance tied to the specifics of each LEED category for new construction. Whether seeking a better understanding of LEED or pursuing the LEED AP BD+C credential, this class is for you!

Course Description

This advanced LEED course provides students with an in-depth knowledge of the LEED BD+C Rating System, with a focus on new construction and major renovations building projects. Participants will learn the skills required to participate in integrative design and guide the LEED application/certification process. This course prepares students to be successful on the LEED AP BD+C exam by explaining and demonstrating the LEED AP BD+C Knowledge and Task Domains.

This class assumes you already have your LEED Green Associate, have taken its exam or are very comfortable with the core concepts of LEED and green building.


This course is ideal for architects, engineers, construction managers, general contractors, plumbing contractors, and anyone regularly involved in the LEED construction process.

How to Become a LEED AP BD+C

To earn your LEED AP BD+C credential, you must follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Pass the LEED Green Associate Exam

  • Step 2: Prepare for the LEED AP BD+C Exam

  • Step 3: Pay USGBC for your LEED AP BD+C Exam

  • Step 4: Schedule your exam appointment with Prometric

  • Step 5: Participate in continuing education & pay a renewal fee to USGBC every 2 years

In the event that a minimum attendance is not reached as determined solely by USGBC Florida, our nonprofit organization reserves the right to cancel these workshops up to 48 hours in advance. Individuals affected by a cancelled workshop will be entitled to a full refund of their registration monies or a transfer of registration to another workshop offered by USGBC Florida.
