Old brick and timber warehouses are unique in character and charm, but unfortunately, they often lack good natural lighting, are noisy and have outdated HVAC systems. With the T3 building, the goal was to deliver the warmth and authenticity of a brick and timber building, with all of the benefits of new construction and sustainable design.

Using wood to construct T3 generated numerous environmental benefits. For instance, the heavy timber throughout T3 actually absorbed carbon dioxide before being harvested, and there were fewer carbon emissions during the manufacturing process compared to steel, concrete or masonry.

Join USGC Minnesota on Dec. 13 at WSB University to learn more about the project.
