Join USGBC National Capital Region from 9 a.m. to noon on June 10 at the Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) to add planters and a pallet wall.

Last year, our Greenbuild Host Committee worked with CAFB, HKS Architects, and Clark Construction to build an urban food studio, an outdoor learning space in which CAFB can provide nutrition, cooking, and gardening education.

The project was completed last fall and celebrated at a ribbon-cutting ceremony just before Greenbuild, but we're heading back out to the project site to take care of a few unfinished tasks. Amanda Marino, the food bank's garden coordinator, also will join us to share how the studio is being incorporated into CAFB's programming.

Please note: We have a limit of 20 volunteers for this event, so don't delay — register now!
