Bring friends, family, coworkers and children for Charlotte Emerging Professionals' biannual Adopt-a-Stream Clean Up event on May 6 at Little Sugar Creek (next to Park Road Shopping Center, between Hillside Avenue and Brandywine Road).

What to wear: We'll be outside, and so we ask volunteers to dress appropriately for the weather and cleanup work. Mecklenburg County will provide waders, gloves, grabbers and trash bags. Please RSVP in advance so we can determine how many supplies we'll need.

Please note that children under 10 will need a guardian and cannot enter the stream. Volunteers between the ages of 10 and 17 will need to sign a waiver.

We'll meet at the rocks along the path between Rocklin and Fieldbrook. Parking is available along the curb of Westfield Road.

For any questions, please contact Alex Kha via email or at 717-342-1304.
