Back by popular demand, USGBC Nebraska Flatwater will again host Mode Shift Omaha to discuss upcoming changes and challenges in Omaha's transit infrastructure.

This session will be an overview of the current transit-oriented projects in Omaha, some of the obstacles to creating more transit-oriented development and initiatives to change the current car-centered culture around the city.

Mode Shift Omaha is a nonprofit organization that advocates for transportation options that enhance quality of life and opportunities to live, work, and play. By discussing the public transportation options and related advocacy efforts in our community we hope to assist our membership in our pursuing LEED v4 Location and Transportion credits while making Omaha a greener city.

Lunch and continuing education credits (GBCI and AIA) provided.
