Learn more about legal issues in the green building industry during a Nov. 15 seminar presented by USGBC Hampton Roads and the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association.

The global green building industry is doubling every three years, and more than 15 billion square feet of building space is LEED-certified worldwide. Closer to home, Virginia has ranked among the top 10 states for LEED projects over the last four years and has nearly 2,500 LEED certified projects to date.

More governmental authorities are mandating high-performance buildings, and it's clear that green building is becoming the norm.

Following the presentation, we'll have a networking happy hour at Keagan's Irish Pub in the Virginia Beach Town Center. Attorneys must register through the NPBA to receive CLE credit.

Preregistrations must be received by noon Monday, Nov. 14. Contact Donna Wilgus with any questions.
