SITES® is a program dedicated to fostering resiliency and transforming land development and management practices towards regenerative design.
The central message of the SITES® program is that any project holds the potential to protect, improve, and regenerate the natural benefits and services provided by healthy ecosystems. This workshop will provide practitioners and regional leaders with the tools they need to integrate SITES® into their work.
About the workshop
The workshop will be held in the Village of Stockholm, where we will tour the Village Park in preparation for the interactive session.
This quaint city, located on Lake Peppin, is only an hour away from the Twin Cities and Rochester. Enjoy a scenic drive among peak fall color — stay the night and make it a mini get-away!
Agenda will include:
- Registration & breakfast
- Introduction to GBCI and SITES
- Background on the SITES Rating System
- The SITES Rating System structure, categories, pre-requisities, credits, Q&A
- Keynote speaker
- Project workshop & interactive session
- Tour of Village Park
This workshop will provide practitioners and regional leaders with the tools they need to integrate SITES® into their work. Continuing Education hours for GBCI and ASLA have been approved.
