From the tour, you'll gain a better understanding about local sustainable forestry and its impact on communities. We'll also discuss how the Forest Stewardship Council is helping promote responsible forest management.

Relax and enjoy bus transportation from Santa Rosa to the Ukiah forest. Visit an active logging site in the redwood forest, and learn from registered practicing foresters about the sustainable practices of Mendocino and Humboldt Redwood Companies. Lunch is included.

The tour will conclude at the Mendocino Redwood Company offices. We'll review the day's experience with foresters and company management along with refreshments.
