About the LBC
The Lifecycle Building Center is a community-based warehouse that promotes sustainability and resource efficiency in the built environment by upcycling salvaged construction materials. These materials are then offered to the public at a fraction of the retail cost, which empowers citizens and stimulates economic growth.

Since beginning operations in 2011, LBC has diverted over 3 million pounds of building materials from landfills and saved the community over $1.6 million through deep discounts on material purchases, avoided disposal costs, and the donation of free building materials to over 110 nonprofit organizations, community groups and houses of faith.

What to wear
If you're coming from work, be sure to bring a change of comfy clothes and walking shoes.

The closest MARTA station is Oakland City Transit Station on the Red/Gold line and is about an 11 minute walk to the Lifecycle Building Center.
