Watch an engaging presentation by Randy Hasslinger of Purgenix to the Engineering class on the UGA Campus. Purgenix engineers customized systems for new or existing air handling units to deliver UVC energy.

The array kills airborne pathogens to desired outcomes based on International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) standards. These higher energy systems used in hospital ICU's can predictably kill dangerous and antibiotic resistant strains of microbes. As a direct result of reduction in biofilm within the air handling unit, savings are realized from reduced energy consumption, component cleaning, filter media changeout, maintenance, and from an increased cooling coil efficiency.
