Join Flavia Grey, former Schneider Fellow and Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University specializing in the dynamic interaction between occupant well being and building sustainability, as she brings together public health professionals and AEC practitioners to discuss how to design, build and operate healthier buildings.

Flavia explores how our built environment can inspire, or discourage, physical movement and fitness.

Dr. Matthew Trowbridge, associate professor and researcher of Emergency Medicine and Public Health at University of Virginia, and Kathy Berg, partner at ZGF Architects, join Flavia to discuss how the built environment affects our level of physical activity, why we should care, approaches and strategies to design more active spaces, and how spaces should be integrated into more holistic health-promoting platforms.
