Join us for a full-day education retreat at Jester Park to meet your LEED and AIA continuing education requirements outside the usual office environment.

Guest speaker David Hubka will lead morning sessions covering topics, including LEED v4 and LEED Proven Providers. RDG Planning and Design and Polk County Conservation will present on the new Jester Park Nature Center project. Attendees will also have opportunities to tour and enjoy Jester Park.

David Hubka | LEED AP O+M, BD+C, ID+C | USGBC Faculty
Director - Operations, Transwestern

David Hubka is the Director of the LEED consultant team within Transwestern Sustainability Services. He guides the day-to-day project specific issues of the existing buildings, new construction, commissioning and energy modeling teams.

Upon graduation, David worked for nine years as an HVAC Engineer designing mechanical systems for commercial buildings. The last 10 years he has worked specifically on LEED / sustainable building projects.

His day-to-day job duties include quality control, customer relations, project oversight, and facilitation of sustainable building educational sessions. In addition to his full-time job David is a four-time published author, who has taught over 3,000 industry professionals throughout the world how to design, build and operate sustainable buildings with respect to the various LEED rating systems.
