Join USGBC National Capital Region and NAIOP DC|MD on Thursday, Aug. 18, for an evening social event on the roof of the LEED Gold Millennium Building in Washington, DC.

Network with professionals in the fields of green building and commercial real estate from across the DC region. Light appetizers and an open beer and wine bar will be provided. Christin Sun, Business Development Representative for the Pepco Commercial and Industrial Energy Savings Program, will provide brief remarks on the Pepco C&I Energy Savings Program.

Donations will be accepted to help support USGBC National Capital Region's work with Calvary Women's Services. Online donations can be made at crowdrise.com.

Located in Southeast DC, Calvary Women's Services is a nonprofit that empowers homeless women by providing housing, healthcare, employment, and education. USGBC National Capital Region's Emerging Professionals are currently working with Calvary Women's Services to green their facility, which serves as a transitional home for 40 women and provides a space for programming.

This event is free for members of USGBC National Capital Region and NAIOP DC|MD. Tickets are $10 for nonmembers.
