Starts On - July 21, 2016 - 7:30pm
Ends On - July 21, 2016 - 9:30pm
120 Greenfield Street
Wilmington , NC 28401

Attend a free solar-powered film screening, brought to you by USGBC North Carolina Cape Fear Branch E-Pros in partnership with the Cafe Fear Surfrider Foundation.

The films will be shown in the outdoor courtyard space at Satellite Bar and Lounge, so you can enjoy a cold beverage during the show. The movie projector will be powered by solar panels provided by Clean Energy Events. The solar generator will be on site if you're interested in learning more about this form of renewable energy. The event will feature two short documentaries relating to surfing and environmental coastal issues.

A brief introduction from the organizations will take place before the first documentary: "The Cycle of Insanity: The Real Story of Water." There will be a social break for you to meet with other folks followed by the second film.

We are excited to have permission from local film-maker Jonh Burkett to show his recently released documentary "Southeastern NC Surfing." Feel free to mingle after the event, and share your reactions about the films.
