Join the USGBC Central Plains and our co-sponsors — the M.E. GROUP, ASID (Missouri/West Kansas) and IIDA — at this special presentation on WELL.

Building owners and designers hear plenty about health and wellness regarding the indoor environment — sit/stand workstations, open offices, sick building syndrome, and fitness rooms are just a few examples.

It can be challenging to separate fads from genuine innovations and to evaluate the relative merits of investments in wellness. This presentation provides an overview of wellness as it relates to the built environment, building off strong evidence from research.

The WELL Building Standard is a framework for organizing strategies to achieve optimum human comfort and outcomes from investments in the built environment, emphasizing physiological and psychological quality.

Our M.E. GROUP presenters, Marcel Harmon and Stuart Shell, are part of the Forte Building Science division, and they lead projects combining an emphasis on ensuring the occupant's perspective with an evidenced-based approach.

Tours of the new Populous offices will follow the presentation and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
