USGBC Faculty are educating the industry

USGBC Faculty are expert green building practitioners who are authorized to teach USGBC education programs.

With hundreds of courses taught worldwide each year, Faculty are educating thousands on green building practices and LEED. They are passionate advocates, advancing USGBC’s goal of market transformation and they are shaping the global green building market.

USGBC Faculty are selected based on their green building subject matter expertise and teaching/training experience. Faculty work with USGBC's Authorized Education Delivery Partners (AEDP). AEDPs are organizations licensed to deliver USGBC instructor led LEED education featuring high-quality curriculum on LEED Rating Systems and strategies, innovation and best practices from real-life projects. USGBC instructor led courses can only be taught by USGBC Faculty.

USGBC Faculty Requirements

  • Professional Credential: LEED Green Associate for 101-201 level workshops; LEED AP with specialty for 251 level courses and up
  • Related green building and LEED project experience
  • Education and training experience

To Apply

To apply, complete the online application. If accepted, candidates will be invited to sign the USGBC Faculty License. Once licensing is complete, Faculty members will partner with USGBC AEDPs to deliver USGBC workshops. Questions? Contact [email protected].
