My account is locked. How do I reactivate my membership?

Answer

We pull individual and organization profiles connected to a company’s account from our directory when a company fails to renew its membership. This is because you must be a USGBC member, either at the individual level through a chapter or at the company level through your employer, to have a profile. If an organization employee is also a chapter member, his or her profile will remain in the directory.

You can renew your company’s membership through our Join Center. If you pay for the membership via credit card, your status as a member will be reinstated immediately. If you pay by check, membership will be reinstated once payment is received.
