United Waste Management of New England LL C has been a long-standing registered member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a national organization founde d in 1993 for the purpose of promoting environmental responsibility throughout the building community. Our transfer sta t ion is the only licensed permitted facility in Boston, MA. Our License # NESW-TS-013 will comply with state and local re quirements.
Our membership has raised the visibility of our company as a leader in #green building.# The USGBC#s L EED# Program (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) provides United Waste Management# with a unique platform to currently market our ability to recycle up to 85% of construction and demolition waste processed through our outlets .
U.W.M trained our LEEDs experts to assist customers with their operational reporting and, compliance requirements to be come green as a company. U.W.M. future goals include the overall greening of our transfer station by utilizing ener gy and sustainability practices as requi red by the (USGBC) United States Green Building Council) organization. |
