The Energy Center of Wisconsin is an independent nonprofit that promotes sustainable energy through research, education, demonstration and hands-on work in buildings nationwide. With offices in Madison, Chicago and Minneapolis, the Energy Center conducts objective research to better understand how consumers use energy and to identify barriers that may prevent more efficient use. Services include energy design consulting and continuing education for architects, engineers and builders; and field research to provide insight on improving the performance of new and existing buildings.The Energy Center promotes sustainability through research, program design, and hands-on demonstration in buildings nationwide. We inspire evolution in how the market approaches energy efficiency by focusing on the next generation of solutions to energy issues. We believe that reducing negative impacts on our environment will help build a strong economy and improve human health and well-being.
