Founded in 1974, the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) works to promote the adoption of sustainable energy in the built environment.

In addition to educating the high performance building industry in the
Northeast through conferences, in-person networking and online courses,
NESEA's overarching goal is to create the infrastructure for
multidisciplinary collaboration. We are a community of architects, engineers,
educators, builders, energy consultants, manufacturers, installers,
facilities managers, planners, students, and others focused on a sustainable
built environment. The only way forward is together, and our community of
professionals is our most valuable asset.
