PMA Environmental Solutions provides comprehensive sustainability consultations for developers, architects and contractors on jobs of various sizes and scope.
PMA works closely with all relevant parties to ensure a thorough waste stream management program is implemented before any work begins on each project. PMA will continue to work closely with these parties to maximize all possible LEED points through all phases of the demolition and construction to maximize the environmental sustainability of the project.
During the demolition and construction phases, PMA establishes what materials MUST be properly recycled at LEED certified facilities. These materials will be separated from the waste stream and marketed by the PMA team to LEED certified facilities to ensure that removal costs, if any, are limited and the material diversion from the landfill is maximized.
Wherever possible, PMA will utilize alternative modes of transportation to lower each project’s carbon footprint and overall impact on the environment. These solutions may include the utilization of barges or rail services. Such alternative modes of transportation not only reduce the environmental impact of the project, but greatly minimize waste removal costs and maximizes the value of the recyclables.
