SGBF is a professional civil society organization, an NGO forces for a green building practice and culture in assisting the development of a comprehensive collection of guiding systems and standards powered by four strategic pillars: SGBF Conference, SGBF Education, SGBF Projects, and SGBF Marketplace.
SGBF is designed to demonstrate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s capacity and the world efforts through its national and international policies for the environmental impact of the built environment from generation to generation whilst encouraging design, construction and operation of clean energy, highly efficient water, building material, indoor air quality, and connectivity of sustainable infrastructure and buildings.
The SGBF initiative(1) under the appointment of The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques of Saudi Arabia Royal Decree No. 7095/mb dated 5/10/1431 A.H., inaugurated under the official patronage of Saudi Arabia Government. The SGBF's Conference, Education, Projects and Marketplace developed under the leadership of its founding members, affiliates and councils members.
