Vision: Pioneering Green Building in Architecture, Engineering and Construction for people, planet and profit, from generation to generation.
Goals: Designed to demonstrate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s capacity and efforts through setting national policy for the environmental impact of the built environment for generation whilst encouraging design, construction and operation of highly efficient buildings.
SGBF support four track:
Conference: An annual program identifies the emerging investment and
employment opportunities associated with Green Building, strategically
aligned in-conjunction with Government and Non-Government in addition to
private sector sponsorship from national and international establishments
organized by MEED.
Education: Providing continuing education and training, instructor-led and online workshops a credited as the Education Partner by U.S. Green Building Council.
Projects: Presented by the King Abdullah initiatives guideline for owners to help consultant, contractor services specialised in design-built and operating a high-performance and efficient buildings pursing LEED certification by U.S. Green Building Council and/ or equivalent systems
Resources: An online index access to green sources by leading authorities, developers, contractors and vendors who are active in delivering a sustainable eco-friendly goods and services. It models human industry on nature's processes.
