More than 30 years of sustainability, putting aesthetics and creativity, the satisfaction of the user’s needs aimed at functionality, ergonomics and safety, to the fore. Valcucine promotes a system that balances the use and the restoration of environmental resources and savings on raw materials, favouring a kitchen design based on dematerialisation, recyclability or reutilisation, reduction of toxic emissions and long product life (the basic principles of eco-sustainability)
Valcucine worked hard on dematerialisation. An “intelligent” reduction in the use of materials to decrease the exploitation of resources from the outset... The first 5 and 2-mm thick super-slim kitchen doors, lightweight but perfectly efficient and sturdy, were devised by us, as were lots of other technological solutions and international patents.
Now, at long last, after years of work Valcucine can guarantee the collection and disposal of the components of some of our lines of kitchens at the end of their life cycle. This means that Valcucine's vision and commitment go beyond the legitimate satisfaction of its customers, and beyond the efficiency and the life-span of its products. It means looking out for the quality of life of people, that cannot improve if we just carry on producing without worrying about the quantity of goods that we are building up in the environment.
Therefore, beyond recycling, beyond the reduction of the materials employed, Valcucine now also takes upon itself the responsibility of disposing of its kitchens and furniture components, designed to be easy to dismantled and reconditioned, so that they can be used to make other products in the future.
