As stok’s Materials Analyst, Anjanette has over a decade of experience in the Architecture and Design industries, contributing vast and substantial experience in the education, research, and assessment of chemicals of concern in materials and material processing. She has extensive knowledge regarding indoor air quality, including concerns surrounding volatile organic compound emissions and particulate matter (PM2.5).
A strong supporter of green chemistry, biomimetic design, and regenerative methodologies, Anjanette’s passion lies in chemical reformulation strategies and bio-based alternatives. Her goal is to help bring Red List free products to market and foster an entirely new era of product design.
A former resident of Shanghai, she was the first ambassador in China for the Living Building Challenge (LBC), working on the first two LBC projects in the country. She helped author two of the first Health Product Declarations (HPDs) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) in China using regionalized data, and her experience with the troubling local air quality issues motivated her to co-author RESET; an air quality certification standard.
Anjanette has consulted a top tier list of international clients, forming specialized targets for chemical reduction, conducting WELL assessments, and advising on Responsible Sourcing Frameworks. She is a LEED AP ID+C, Living Future Accredited, and a RESET AP and Senior Fellow.
