Brendan is USGBC’s vice president of LEED® technical development. In this role, he collaborates with volunteer technical committees to advance the technical content of USGBC’s LEED Green Building Rating System.
Brendan represents USGBC on the executive committee for ASHRAE/IES/USGBC Standard 189.1, is the USGBC liaison to the International Green Construction Code, is a member of the board of directors for the New Buildings Institute and is deputy director of the center for cycling technology at USGBC. In addition, Brendan is a board member of the foundation USGBC is partnering with to build the William Jefferson Clinton Children’s Center in Port au Prince, Haiti. Prior to joining USGBC, Brendan worked designing, implementing and verifying performance contract based energy conservation projects in existing buildings.
Brendan was honored as a LEED Fellow in 2012, is a licensed Professional Engineer and a proud Boilermaker.
