With EnergyLogic since 2006, she has been not only the primary interface with
the USGBC for LEED® for Homes but also with the NAHB’s National Green
Building Program and the EPA’s WaterSense Program. Carissa has achieved
multiple certifications relevant to these activities and has worked on
hundreds of green homes in the context of these programs. She answers
questions regarding both energy ratings and sustainability programs for
EnergyLogic Rater-Partners across the United States and abroad.
Carissa has also distinguished herself as one of the USGBC Faculty™ members
by being highly trained in both green building practice and instructional
methods. She has taught several courses on LEED® and LEED® for Homes. She
is a Certified Energy Manager and has taught a commercial energy auditing
course. Carissa is a Residential Energy Services Network certified Quality
Assurance Designee and a LEED® for Homes Quality Assurance
Designee and Green Rater.
USGBC Faculty are the official instructors of USGBC's instructor-led
workshops working with USGBC's education delivery partners. Carissa is
