Charalampos Giannikopoulos is the founder of DCarbon, a consultancy firm whose goal is to provide top-quality analysis and strengthen existing values in the real-estate sector through the seamless integration of sustainable development tools, optimum efficiencies and innovative marketing.

Charalampos has extensive experience in participating in multi-disciplinary teams on major international projects including the Masdar City sustainable masterplan in Abu Dhabi and the LEED kick-off implementation at Karela Office Park in Athens Greece as the first LEED AP to be appointed in Greece by Aktor, the largest construction firm in the region.

In 2014 Charalampos has completed the successful certification of three additional LEED projects in Greece, one of which is the first LEED Platinum building in the country, thus having being involved up to date in 100% of the completed LEED projects in the region (in 75% of which with full responsibility of the LEED implementation).

In a personal capacity, Charalampos is a USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) Pro Reviewer, a LEED Accredited Professional with the "Building Design + Construction" and "Operations + Maintenance" specialties accredited by the GBCI, an ESTIDAMA Pearl Qualified Professional accredited by the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council and a DGNB Consultant accredited by the German Sustainable Building Council.
