Cleland is a Lead Consultant in PwC's Advisory practice managing project teams
in the Sustainability Business Solutions Group in Chile. He runs the
Sustainable Construction & Infrastructure line of service, specializing in
Cleland has completed work on over 100 LEED building projects worldwide,
as both a consultant and reviewer, leading engineering consulting, technical
analysis, and energy modeling initiatives. Approached to expand the young
LEED division of a multi-billion dollar company, Cleland recruited, trained,
and managed 6 LEED consultants across the US (New York, San Francisco,
Dallas, Atlanta). He designed review and QA processes that tripled project
throughput within 12 months, while reducing USGBC corrective comments by 25%.
Cleland has also served as Project Manager for a leading sustainability
strategy consultancy, coordinating large project teams for Fortune 500 and
Government clients worldwide, in industries as diverse as retail, consumer
products, transportation, manufacturing, industrial products, and hospitality
Cleland has tremendous international experience, having lived in the UK,
France, China, Singapore, the US, and Chile.
