Twenty-five years of engineering, business development and project execution
across a wide range of infrastructure sectors including 21 years in private
industry and 4 years of active-duty military service (as an officer in the US
Air Force). Participation in over $500 Million with the Federal Government
(DOD, State Department, others) and $1 Billion in public and private works
covering rail transit, civil infrastructure, buildings, power and industrial
facilities. Expertise covers all ranges of the project capture and execution
process (proposal strategy development, proposal management, and project
execution), and project development and implementation processes, to include
site selection, financial modeling, solicitation of financial sources, design
management, EPC execution, startup, commissioning, and transition to
operations and maintenance.
Recent roles include leading organizations through the implementation of
various renewable energy strategies, applying the principles that guide
successful infrastructure project development and completion. Work includes
scope definition, competitive analysis, technical due diligence, and project
planning. Led teams dedicated to assisting clients with large electricity and
resource loads (such as data centers), creating strategies for cost-effective
renewable energy and sustainability solutions. Located capital sources where
necessary, and evaluated multiple technologies to create custom solutions.
Guided operations and financial professionals on strategic implementation and
risks for renewable energy projects. Also advise private equity investors regarding investment and construction of utility-scale renewable energy projects across North America and overseas.
Serving as technical and business consultant to Tetra Tech’s international business units for overseas renewable energy projects including projects in Indonesia, Dubai, Barbados, Liberia, Haiti, and Nigeria.
