CURRENT ROLE AT CB RICHARD ELLIS
David Lázaro joined CBRE as head of Engineering Department (Building
Consultancy), and responsible of Energy & Sustainability Department, after
employed at several Engineering consultancy firms.
Since its incorporation David formed and led the Energy & Sustainability
Department team within CBRE focusing upon high profile developments
in CBRE, has made numerous Due Diligences to different groups of
banks and investment operations purchase / sale and has participated in
numerous projects execution of buildings.
At the beginning of his career in IDOM Engieering Services he took part of several EPC
(Engineering, Procurement & Construction) new building, offices, mall, and
shopping centers. Prior to join CBRE, David spent four years
working in Foster Wheeler, development labors of team leader and being
responsible for various projects focusing on Installations and legal
conditions for new construction.
Responsible for implementation of corporate environmental strategy for CBRE
Spain, aligning direction with global corporate goals and commitments to
develop and promote a comprehensive environmental sustainability and green
building platform for the region. Serves as the EMEA representative on the
company's Toward a Greener Tomorrow Task Force, Global Sustainability Network
and the CBRE Asset Services Environmental Executive Committee, coordinating
the implementation of global sustainability commitments within the EMEA
property management business to create a new industry standard for green
In his spare time David enjoys aviation, new technologies and most
importantly, travelling with his two young boys.
