Hello world

Dawn brings 7 years of LEED and sustainable design experience to the LEED
Support Team at the USGBC. Her role as a LEED Specialist allows her to work
directly with architects, engineers, facilities managers and building owners
from around the world, whom are transforming the building industry using
LEED.

Prior to joining the USGBC, she focused on LEED certification and sustainable
policy development at Wells Fargo. Here she was the LEED Advocate responsible
for the LEED volume certification of over 60 east coast Wells Fargo retail
stores. She also aided in the design and build of Wells Fargo's first Zero
Net Energy retail store in Florida. She also has past experience working as a
landscape design for a couple smaller landscape architecture firms in
Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dawn volunteers on the USGBC North Caroline Charlotte Education and Programs
committee and the Central Piedmont Community College Sustainable Technologies
Advisory Board. She is passionate about education and ensuring that students
have access to appropriate and current research in the field of
sustainability.

She is a graduate of Slippery Rock University where she earned a Bachelor of
Science in Environmental Studies and Masters of Science in Sustainable
Systems.

In her spare time, Dawn enjoys yoga, soccer, running, mountain biking,
kayaking, meditation and cooking. She would participate in just about
anything outdoors that keeps her, her husband and their toddler happy and
healthy.
