Emily Kirk Willson manages the LEED Volume Program, USGBC's streamlined certification solution for large building owners and managers. She oversees the development of guidance materials and customer education, and works to ensure a smooth LEED certification process for the program's 40 participating organizations. She has served as a liaison with corporate, retail, hospitality and government sector participants, including Vornado Realty Trust, Starbucks, Marriott and the U.S. General Services Administration. Prior to joining USGBC, Emily practiced commercial interior design for six years as a project manager with Mancini Duffy and SKB Architecture and Design, both in Washington, D.C. Currently based in San Francisco, CA, Emily enjoys working with large organizations throughout the U.S. and internationally, to integrate LEED and sustainability into their standard business practice.
