All building projects should strive to be exceptional. Each building, being of its time and place, should address its specific context, use, and culture appropriately. After gaining a complete understanding of a projects goals, context, and budget a unique, appropriate, and sustainable design solution, that address the concerns of a buildings owner and users, can be developed and implemented.
With a focus on sustainability, I have developed skills in all project phases during my professional experience for both residential and commercial buildings, both new and existing. From initial client meetings, programming and schematic design, through the development of designs, construction documents and construction administration each project is approached holistically.
My passion for architecture and green building continues beyond my duties at work through my volunteer work with the USGBC Long Island Chapter and as an Adjunct Professor in the Architecture and Engineering Department at Suffolk County Community College.
