Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the the University of Padova in
Italy, he also studied at the University of California and the Von Karman
Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Bruxelles.
He now leads the Building Physics and Sustainability Division of the Verona
Business Unit providing specialist Sustainable Design services, Energy and
Daylight modeling, CFD modeling, LEED and BREEAM design and certification
consultancy, Commissioning Authority, Energy and Maintenance auditing and
He is a qualified LEED AP BD+C and BREEAM International Assessor.
He has consulted in the first LEED Core&Shell office building in Italy
(Centro Leoni, Milan), the first BREEAM International for new Retail building
in Italy (Nave de Vero, Marghera), the first ITACA high-rise building in
Italy (IntesaSanpaolo Tower, Turin), and various other important LEED
projects such as Unicredit Tower in Milan, Isozaki Tower in Milan, MUSE in
Trento, Lavazza HQ in Turin, Prysmian HQ in Milan.
He chairs the Green Building Council Italia Energy and Atmosphere Technical
Committee and is a member of the AICARR Commissioning Committee. He
periodically lectures for the Turin Politechnic in the Master of High-Rise
Building Design and for the Turin Business Administration School in the Master of
Real Estate Portfolio Management.
