Jim Weiner, AIA, LEED Fellow, LEED Faculty's Summary

Jim Weiner founded Collaborative Project Consulting as the natural progression of a thirty-year career as a design architect and educator. He is a recognized thought leader in architecture and sustainable building in the U.S. and internationally. Green building policy has been shaped by his hands-on work with the U.S. Green Building Council, major utilities, universities and local governments.

Jim is an educator and speaker for groups including Pitzer College, the USGBC, American Library Association, Community College Facilities Coalition, Los Angeles Preservation Network, UCLA, USC, UCSB, SCIARC, Association of Energy Engineers, American Solar Energy Society, AIA, Construction Specifications Institute, ASHRAE, CTAC, Energy Resource Center and the U.S. Green Building Council. He is also an original Instigator of the Greenbuild Slam.
