Ms. Pass has over 28 years of experience in the various aspects of civil site design, survey specifications and coordination, project management, contract administration, and working with governmental contracts. She serves as President and Chief Engineer for Passpointe Engineering. She specializes in utilizing Low Impact Development (LID) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principles in all projects as well as bringing creative solutions to design challenges. Ms. Pass also holds a certification from CSI in Construction Document Technology (CDT).
Before launching Passpointe Engineering, PLLC in 2010, Ms. Pass started an engineering consulting section with a local firm, where she worked for six years. Prior to 2004, Ms. Pass was with the Hamilton County Engineering Department, Chattanooga, Tennessee, as Engineering Projects Manager and Assistant to the County Engineer from 1985 to 2004. She was responsible for overall office management, budgets and estimating, sanitary sewer GIS/mapping, design and construction administration, CAD standards and employee evaluation development. Ms. Pass was responsible for the design and administration of recreation, roadway, sanitary sewer, surveying, industrial development, drainage, traffic, environmental, and buildings projects for the various departments and agencies of the County. She also initiated the development of the Hamilton County Geographic Information System.
Prior to working with Hamilton County, Ms. Pass was involved in surveying and recreation design with the consulting firm of Watt & Estes, Inc., now Volkert & Associates, in Chattanooga, TN.
