Executive Director, Green Schools National Network
An educator with more than 35 years’ experience preparing youth for success in an ever-changing world, Seydel balances her role with the Green Schools National Network with her work as a School Designer for Expeditionary Learning, a non-profit education reform organization.
Jennifer earned an M.Ed. in Environmental Education from Lesley College and the Audubon Expedition Institute, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies from Antioch University of New England. Through her work with Expeditionary Learning, she has provided school coaching, leadership development, and curriculum design support to schools nationwide and is the lead author of one of the first integrated curriculum modules that integrate the Common Core State Standards in ELA with the Next Generation Science Standards.
As the Executive Director of the Green Schools National Network, the host of the only national K-12 conference designed to bring together thought leaders and allies for creating green, healthy, sustainable schools. . Seydel leads GSNN's efforts to bring together all sectors invested in green, healthy, sustainable schools through professional development, network development, and research.
