John Deatrick
John recently served as Project Executive of the Cincinnati Streetcar Project and is currently assisting the Owners Representative on the restoration of Union Terminal/Cincinnati Museum Center. Throughout his 40 year career, John has worked in all phases on a broad range of award winning civic improvement projects, including managing the Fort Washington Way Reconfiguration and The Banks Project in Cincinnati and implementation of transportation improvements for the Anacostia Waterfront Initiative and Georgetown in Washington, DC.

His particular area of focus includes bringing a sustainable approach to his work, including multi-modal transportation, asset management, green highways and mixed-use development. He values positive approaches to deliver social and environmental justice.

A Navy veteran, he is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states, a Certified Planner, a LEED AP BD+C, a Chartered Engineer in the United Kingdom, and a Certified Sustainability Professional. He has a BSCE from UC Evening College and has a BA majoring in Business/History from University of Maryland, European Division with additional classwork at The Catholic University of America.
