“There are painters who transform the sun to a yellow spot, but there are
others who with the help of their art and their intelligence, transform a
yellow spot into the sun.” - Pablo Picasso.

As Facility Performance Associates Director of High Performance Building Services, I get to “transform a yellow spot into the sun” every day for my clients. I’m blessed to have
a client base who values my well versed architecture and engineering
knowledge in corporate architecture, commercial interiors, building and
campuses and mixed use developments. I enjoy implementing integrative sustainable building solutions that ensure occupant comfort, improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and optimize facility budgets.

My interpersonal and leadership skills allow me to excel in three focus
areas: Business Development, Technical Support, and Staff Development. I
actively engage in national business development opportunities and cultivate
productive business relationships with existing and new clients to deliver
outstanding consulting services. I enjoy providing high performance technical
support and coaching my fellow staff members to achieve sustainability goals
and deliver high performance results. I enjoy public speaking and use every
opportunity to teach on the Principles of Sustainability and High Performance
Design in order to advance the practice area. My project delivery and level
of technical expertise with USGBC’s LEED for New Construction, Commercial
Interiors, and Operations & Maintenance rating systems allows me to deliver
measureable results on high performance projects.

I’m an experienced LEED professional who has guided projects from LEED
Basic to Platinum Certification and enjoys facilitating the development of
sustainable standards, guiding training activities and promoting consistency
in the planning, scoping, fee development and execution of high performance
building services.

Last, I'm a member of USGBC's Pro Member Review Team responsible for the review and approval of sustainable continuing education courses under development by USGBC Education Providers. In this role, I have the ability to perform a technical reviews and provide unbiased feedback and guidance to help improve the quality of LEED v4 upcoming continuing education courses that contribute to the LEED New Construction, LEED Commercial Interiors and LEED for Existing Buildings Operation & Maintenance credential maintenance programs.
