Develops, implements, and oversees all international marketing and communication strategies and campaigns for the U.S. Green Building Council’s flagship product and brand, the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) green building rating system. He also oversees international marketing and communications for GBCI, the certifying body for all LEED projects worldwide.

Environmental Design (LEED) green building rating system.

Joe was the deputy director of communications and
manager of digital strategy for the Business Roundtable (BRT), an association
of Fortune 200 CEOs. At BRT, he developed, guided, and managed a
holistic communication strategy that blended social, new, and traditional
media relations. For his work, he was named a "40 under 40" by
PRWeek Magazine in 2010.

Prior to joining BRT, Joe was a reporter for six years covering the
intersection of money and influence in Washington D.C. as well as local and
national politics. He was also a professional actor for several years having
studied at The Stella Adler Conservatory in New York City and the American
Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.

He is also a co-founder of the food blog, The Passion Fruits, and the founder
and creator of a homemade olive-oil granola, "Granola Joe."
