I joined DuPont at Chambers Works (Deepwater NJ) in Nov 2011 as Senior Contract Administrator. I studied, applied, and improved DuPont Engineering Global Project System and DuCAP Contract Administration procedures, leveraging resources across Chambers Works and the Mid-Atlantic Region.

My recommended updates to DuPont Legal terms and conditions, Sourcing bid event templates, and DuCAP / Chambers Works bid package documents have been incorporated throughout DuPont.

I was involved in project management, cost control, and contract negotiations for 20 years as a U.S. Navy Supply Corps officer. I was a sustainable real estate and business advisor for domestic and international clients of Green Paradigm Realty LLC, particularly in brownfields and renewable energy projects. I hold an NJ Real Estate Instructor license. I served as adjunct faculty in e-business and in green building principles with several community colleges. In my naval career and commercial real estate practice, I excelled at compliance, regulatory issues, and enterprise policy. I have since turned down teaching assignments at various colleges to focus on DuPont.

I have spoken at numerous venues on change management and sustainable development. I have an A.A.S. in Computer Technology from Heald Institute, a B.S. in Economics from University of Delaware and an M.S. in Management from U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. Committed to building a sustainable economy in the Delaware Valley, I founded the Green Paradigm Institute in Oct 2008 (dormant since onboarding DuPont).

I am experienced in contract administration and facilities management. I have the discipline and skills to ensure compliance with corporate policies, and statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as identifying and implementing best practices. I am conversant in human resources and strategic management, enabling the growth of the organization and its people.

There are challenges for formulating and implementing a meaningful business-driven strategic plan given group dynamics and other factors. I am prepared for this multi-faceted environment. I am experienced in paper-free initiatives, change management, and adult learning. I have studied executive leadership at George Washington University with a focus on individual, group, and organizational learning to optimize organizational growth and effectiveness.

As a former Navy officer, supervising both uniformed and non-uniformed personnel, and having attained each successive rank as available, I am comfortable in leading others—via consensus—towards the alignment and accomplishment of mutual goals. I am conversant in budgeting and facilities management.

I am certified in contract administration and accredited in various green building rating systems. Both disciplines are grounded in collaborative and integrated teamwork and project delivery. I am self-directed yet organizationally sensitive regarding strategic planning and day-to-day operations.
