Client Relations Manager, Thrival School
Over six years working in corporate sustainability and communications, Kate has developed marketing and communications for small, mid-sized, and Fortune 500 companies. She began in the industry as an assistant to project managers at The CSR Group, a sustainable business consulting firm. After her graduation from the University of Texas at Austin, Kate moved to San Francisco to continue to build her career. There, she honed her skills in program management as Sustainability Programs Coordinator for a nationally-operating tourism company, Hornblower Cruises and Events. Kate later returned to Austin and joined the City of Austin’s Office of Sustainability, where she led communications for the City’s green business program.
Today, Kate applies her strengths in communications and program development as Client Relations and Communications Manager for the organizational development consultancy, Thrival School. Kate manages a work-from-home program for Thrival School client, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.) As program manager, she helps AMD and its employees thrive through employee telework arrangements. Kate also lends her expertise to Thrival School’s business development initiatives and other client communications work.
