I graduated from Michigan State University's James Madison College with a degree in International Relations and Asian Studies. I worked for the Community Relations Coalition in East Lansing on city-wide issues and the Michigan Department of Agriculture in the International Marketing Department before joining the U.S. Green Building Council in 2008.
I was a part of the Education and Research Department at USGBC for two years before transitioning into an Account Manager role. I now work with many of USGBC and GBCI's most-engaged stakeholders. I aim to help organizations expand their LEED project work and ensure their LEED professionals and project teams have the education and resources they need to be successful. I see my role as an advocate for the companies I work with and regularly channel feedback to the appropriate teams within USGBC and GBCI.
I am pursuing my Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) at Portland State University. I am specializing in the Environment and Land Use. Some of my specialties involve Mandarin Chinese, communication strategies, project management, sustainable building, urban planning, and smart growth.
