I graduated from Michigan State University's James Madison College with a
degree in International Relations and Asian Studies. I worked for the
Community Relations Coalition in East Lansing on city-wide issues and the
Michigan Department of Agriculture in the International Marketing Department
before joining the U.S. Green Building Council in 2008.
I was a part of the Education and Research Department at USGBC for two years
before transitioning into an Account Manager role. I now work with many of
USGBC and GBCI's most-engaged stakeholders. I aim to help organizations
expand their LEED project work and ensure their LEED professionals and
project teams have the education and resources they need to be successful. I
see my role as an advocate for the companies I work with and regularly
channel feedback to the appropriate teams within USGBC and GBCI.
I completed my Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) at Portland
State University in 2013. I specialized in Land Use Planning and completed
my senior workshop project on innovative alley redevelopment. Some of
my specialties involve Mandarin Chinese, communication strategies, project
management, sustainable building, urban planning, and smart growth.
