Kira Gould serves as the director of communications for influential, green
architect, William McDonough. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas,
with an undergraduate degree in journalism and English and received her
graduate degree in architecture and design at Parsons School of Design in New
York. Gould became involved with The American Institute of Architects
community when she lived in New York City, which later evolved to working
with COTE at the national level. Kira Gould has written on sustainability for
several publications including Metropolis, Architectural Record, and The
Boston Globe. She also co-author "Women in Green: Voices of Sustainable
Design," published in 2007.
